Use the official exam topics as a checklist and spend 10 to 12 weeks preparing. Begin with Python and REST API fundamentals, then practice with Cisco DevNet Sandboxes to build real API confidence. Create small projects with Meraki, Webex, and DNA Center APIs. Use Docker and CI/CD tools to automate deployment. Run Ansible and Terraform labs for infrastructure automation. Reserve time for security topics, webhooks, and OAuth flows, which are common weak areas.
