Cognitive load

The exam imposes a moderate cognitive load. While the topics are introductory, the hands-on nature of the Platform requires memorizing specific Blue Prism stage behaviours and the exact syntax for conditional logic, which can be challenging for newcomers. The 60-minute time limit also adds moderate mental pressure, requiring a solid familiarity with the Control Room interface to move quickly through scenario-based questions.

Study strategy

A highly effective strategy combines official Blue Prism Foundation training (mandatory for the exam) with daily hands-on sandbox practice. Use the official Blue Prism Help files as your reference and complete at least three full process builds from start to finish (including Work Queues and Exception Handling) before attempting the exam.
