Salesforce Certified Application Architect Exam Format
Everything the official exam blueprint specifies: question count, time limit, scoring and the weight each domain carries. The Salesforce Certified Application Architect credential validates a candidate's ability to design complex, scalable, and secure solutions within the Salesforce platform. Unlike specialist certifications, this architect-level credential focuses on the intersection of multiple technical domains. It requires a holistic understanding of how data flows through an organization, how external systems communicate with Salesforce, how users are securely authenticated, and how code and configuration are reliably deployed through a professional development lifecycle. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to make high-level design decisions that balance technical debt, performance, and business requirements in large-scale enterprise environments.
