The exam fee buys you one attempt at the Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator. Everything else on your path to certification, revision material included, sits outside this price, and that is where most of the budget of a certification actually goes.
Note from the vendor record: CRT-211 is the legacy code for the credential now published as Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II (current exam code Plat-Admn-301); Salesforce renamed "Advanced Administrator" to "Platform Administrator II" as part of its certification name refresh announced for July 21, 2025, and the exam guide now under this URL is titled "Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II Exam Guide". The official guide states the exam content aligns to the Summer '22 release and requires the Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification as a prerequisite. Certification is maintained by completing the Administrator maintenance badge on Trailhead three times a year, otherwise it expires. Platform Administrator II does not appear in the official 2027 Certification Retirements FAQ, so it is not among the 24 credentials retiring on February 1, 2027 (those include CPQ Administrator and various Accredited Professional exams).
