Note from the vendor record: Google's Cloud Certification FAQ states only pass/fail results are provided because exams are designed to determine whether an individual meets a minimum passing standard and numerical scores are not meaningful to the examinee, so no numeric passing score is published (the historical 'Passing score: 70%' wording is not on current Google pages). Standard exam is 2 hours, $200 plus tax, includes 2 case studies worth 20–30% of the exam; renewal options are a shorter 1-hour/25-question/$100 renewal exam, the standard exam, or designated Google Skills courses/badges (adds 1 year). Professional certifications are valid 2 years with renewal eligibility opening 60 days before expiration (renewable up to 30 days after); there are no prerequisites (3+ years industry experience incl. 1+ year on Google Cloud recommended). Exam Terms & Conditions retake policy: maximum four attempts in a two-year period, waiting 14 days after a first failure, 60 days after a second, and 365 days after a third, with payment required for each attempt.
