Study official CREST syllabi and recommended reading lists, but prioritize practical labs that require you to plan and debrief multi-stage attacks. Join the CREST community forums and attend CRESTCon events. Pair with colleagues for purple team exercises where you manage a red team while coordinating with blue team defenders. Review past scenario-based questions and practice writing executive reports. Allocate 3-4 months of dedicated study, spending 60% on practical team management exercises and 40% on theory (GRC, threat intelligence, frameworks). Use the official CREST CRTM preparation guide and consider instructor-led training from CREST-accredited providers.

• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, cyber kill chain, and adversarial tactics
• Good command of English (written and verbal) at professional proficiency level
