The exam fee buys you one attempt at the Certified Incident Manager. Everything else on your path to certification, revision material included, sits outside this price, and that is where most of the budget of a certification actually goes.

Note from the vendor record: Issuer confirmed as CREST (International), a UK not-for-profit company; the credential is listed as active on CREST's certification, pricing and digital-badge pages. It is a written-only exam with no practical element, delivered at Pearson VUE centres in two parts, with part 2 required within three months of part 1, and the certification is valid for three years. No formal prerequisite is stated, though CREST describes the role as for 'highly experienced personnel'; the exam confers no NCSC CHECK status. Caveat: CCIM is also an unrelated acronym (Certified Commercial Investment Member, NAR/CCIM Institute) and, less commonly, other bodies market a 'Certified Incident Manager'; only CREST issues an exam literally abbreviated CCIM for this title.
