Begin with a thorough review of the five exam domains using official AWS documentation and whitepapers. Prioritize hands-on labs in a sandbox AWS account to practice incident response simulations, IAM policy refinement, and VPC security configurations. Use practice exams to identify weak areas, particularly in threat detection automation and encryption key management. Recommended resources include: AWS Security Workshops, A Cloud Guru, Tutorials Dojo practice tests, and the official AWS Security - Specialty Exam Guide. Allocate 80-120 hours of study over 8-12 weeks, focusing 40% on labs, 30% on theoretical study, and 30% on practice exams.
